Parking Validation

Up to 40 minutes of validated parking is available with a nominal purchase in the Museum Café, (for Café hours, click here). Café patrons receive validation in lots displaying the "Pv" symbol. Privately owned parking facilities downtown do not honor the validation stamps.

The 60 South Market garage (enter on Post Street), offers discounted parking for the San Jose Museum of Art’s members. Members pay just $3 for the first hour and thereafter $1.25 for every extra 15 minutes up to a maximum charge of $7.

To get your discounted rate, just present your parking ticket and Museum membership card to the attendant located at the First Street exit booth. Bike Parking Around SJMA:

The underground Fairmont Plaza Public Parking garage facility (located adjacent to the museum on San Fernando Street) has multiple capacity bike rack. The bike rack is located near the elevators on the ground floor or Parking Level One (P1). Duty patrols float through every hour.
